AFTERSCHOOL 2026/2027 CALENDAR

The Afterschool Service will be OPEN for Full Day Care for afterschool children on the
following school closure dates:

25th of September 2026 (Friday)

27th – 30th of October 2026 (Tuesday to Friday)

17th – 19th of February 2027 (Wednesday to Friday)

22nd – 26 th of March 2027 (Monday to Friday)

26th of March, the creche will be closing at 3 pm (for Good Friday)

30th of March – 2 nd of April 2027 (Tuesday to Friday)

4 th – 7 th of May 2027 (Tuesday to Friday)

4 th of June (Friday)

The Afterschool calendar has been prepared opposite to the ECCE calendar for clarity.

The calendar states that full-day care is available on that date, on top of the child’s usual Afterschool attendance.

Public holidays are excluded from full-day Afterschool care as the centre is closed.

The centre is also closed for the Christmas period from 24 December until the first working day in January. Normal service resumes on the first working day following the Christmas closure.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate full-day care for school training days, teacher training days or any additional school closure days that are not specifically stated on this calendar.

Where a school has an additional training or closure day that is not included on this calendar, children will be welcome to attend the Afterschool service from 1:00 p.m. onwards only, in line with their usual Afterschool attendance arrangements.

Normal booking arrangements, service opening days and centre closure arrangements continue to apply.
