We miss you all!

Hi Everyone! We miss you all so so SO much ❤

We hope you're all doing well and having a great time spending time at home and  learning and playing at home.

Niamh and Katie thought it would be nice to put together a few activities for you all to  have a look at and maybe try out to keep your growing brains busy.

Niamh is spending time playing games with her family, walking her dog in the park (her  name is Scruffy 🐶).   Katie is spending her time playing board games and going on walks too!    We can't wait to see you all again and hear all about how you're all spending your time.

Feel free to send us updates on your marvellous matching game, your indoor Catapult  launches and some fun updates on how you are.  Sending virtual hugs to you all! We will talk again soon.

Niamh and Katie ❤

Marvelous Memory Match

Use the images on the following page to make a simple Memory Match game to keep  your brain active!

  1. Print out and colour the pictures in whatever colours you would like

  2. Cut the squares out of the paper and then flip over

  3. Take turns to find a match

  4. Winner is the player with the most cards

If you don't have a printer, not to worry! If you have any paper laying around, draw your  own images and use these to make your very own SUPER UNIQUE memory matching  game.

DIY Treat Catapult

Materials Needed:

  • Big Spoon or Medium Sized Stick

  • Masking Tape/ Cellotape (Optional)

  • A Range of Spoons

  • A Treat of Choice (I used Blueberries)

Step 1: Use your big spoon or medium sized stick as a base.

Step 2: Find the right spoon at the Catapult Basket. I found that my  silver spoon was too curved so I could not launch with it. Experiment  with different sizes and shapes of spoons to find the best Catapult  Basket.  You could stop here, but I found when I launched my berries my  wooden spoon would roll.

Step 3: Since my wooden spoon would move after my practice launch,  I decided to change my design and use tape to secure it to the table.

Use 2 pieces of tape to do this if you have the same issue.

Step 4: Load up your Catapult and LAUNCH! 💥  You could try launch your treats into somebody else's mouth. Or take  this outside of you have a pet and launch animal friendly treats for  your four legged friends!

Some Fun Things to Try at Home

Bravery

Bravery is facing something that makes you a little scared or  concerned about.     Sometimes being brave means showing  those around you that you care. Today, why don't you be  extra brave and a family member everything you love about  them!

A RIDDLE FOR YOU ALL!

I come in many different colors, and I get bigger when I’m full. I will float  away if you don’t tie me down, and I will make a loud sound if I break.

What am I?
